Great question! I cannot stress enough the importance of backing up the information on your computer. Backing up your computer information will ensure that in the event that something goes wrong, you still have a copy of all of your hard work!
You have two options: an external hard drive or an online back up service. A key benefit to using an external hard drive is no monthly charge. If you go this route, I would recommend getting two hard drives: one for on-site and one for off-site (in case of theft/fire/natural disaster).
Using an online service is a good alternative because the backing up process is taken care of automatically. Listed below are a few online services:
