Monday, March 7, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Meet at The Ferg Plaza at 5:45 p.m.

The Ferg will provide 50 students with  a free ride, dinner and tickets to Sips n Strokes in downtown Tuscaloosa on Monday, March 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. as a part of the On the Town with The Ferg series.

Sips n Strokes was founded in 2004 by artist Wendy LoVoy. The studio's mission is to make art accessible to as many students as possible by offering classes Monday through Saturday each week. Sips n Strokes continues to introduce the world of art to many people, even those who feel unable to draw a simple stick figure, by helping them create masterpiece of their very own.

This event at Sips n Strokes is the second event in the On the Town with the Ferg series this semester. These monthly events are planned to enhance students' cultural experience at the University by taking them to off-campus locations for events and exhibits they might not get to experience otherwise. The final trip for this semester will be to an Atlanta Braves game in April.

Students interested in attending the trip to Sips n Strokes should SIGN UP HERE to request a ticket. Space is limited to 50 students so tickets will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. Students who receive a ticket will get a confirmation email that will act as a ticket for the event. Students with tickets should meet at the Ferguson Center plaza at 5:45 p.m. on Monday, March 7 to load the buses.
