Josh Sommerville Faces of the Ferg
Josh Sommerville - Conference Coordinator
Hometown: Aliceville, Ala.
Major: Chemical Engineering

Josh has worked at the Ferg for three years. He says that his favorite things about working at the Ferg are the friendships he's formed and the fun he has while at work.

We would also like to congratulate Josh on receiving the African American Alumni Network (AAAN) Endowed Scholarship. This scholarship was established
in 2004 from gifts given by the African American Association Alumni Society to promote the education of deserving undergraduate students who enroll full-time at The University of Alabama. Priority of consideration is given to undergraduate students advancing into their junior or senior year at The University of Alabama who have maintained a cumulative 2.5 GPA and demonstrated on-campus leadership. All eligible students who apply for the AAAN Endowed Scholarship through the Financial Aid application process are required to submit a reply to an essay question. The recipient is selected by a panel of judges using the application and essay response.

The University Union held a reception for Josh on March 5 to congratulate him on such a great accomplishment.
