Magnifying GlassA New Way to Search
SearchLaunching July 14, a new, state-of-the art search technology will make finding what the library has to offer easier. The library's new online system, accessible at the library and from home via the internet, will provide a more user-friendly, intuitive experience when you search for materials.

Starting with one simple search box, you can find all the library has to offer on a topic. Search results appear in a similar format to that of Google or Amazon. Options to sort your search by relevance, title or date, and refine your search by several options including format, availability and locations are available.

In addition, the new system offers many helpful resources to aid you in finding materials including patron reviews, ratings and tags. You will also find it easier to place holds on items and will be able to place holds on multiple items at once.

Join the library staff at the downtown library on July 14 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to celebrate this new way to search library resources, learn about the new system and ask questions.
