HEALING OF SUFFERING: A FEARLESS WEAPON
Jane Barnes is back at the office working on the new phase of a documentary started in 2005 when Julie interviewed high-ranking Tibetan officials and religious leaders, and even the Personal Physician to HH, The Dalai Lama. Rough cuts are being made from an outline through the thesis Julie wrote about that trip, available for FREE download

BYTE-SIZED YOGA citings:
Julie is thrilled to hear the concept is taking hold as people tell her they created Byte-Sized Yoga bits into their day, at an apparel store, cross-country skiing, and walking the dog! That's inspiring to me! :) We'll get more out there, and if you have any suggestions of particular aches, stretches, issues, accessability... Throw em at me and let's see what we can create!

WasBand & WereWife Show: We're gathering feedback on our test runs, and would love to hear about topics you'd like to see us discuss.

WHEN WE LOOK: a human rights piece on Genocide and women as targets of it. Originally staged in development, Julie has joined the creative team and will be performing as well as producing upcoming events for it. Keep a lookout and if you'd like to see a 7min trailer of the work-in-progress staging,  CLICK HERE

THE SYSTEM: Cristina Cordova and Juan Antionio Del Rosario are producing this film and Smokin' Yogi is doing whatever possible to help! Sign up on their Facebook pageand offer to help too!

Greetings this winter day!
Waking up to -12 degrees REAL FEEL, and waiting for a high above zero seems to correlate to the financial situation our country, and many of us, are facing!

I hope to offer you, in this letter before the Spring Equinox, some activities to fuel your creativity and some nuggets to fuel your thoughts as we come out of this deep freeze of winter.

And, of course, some projects you may want to know about!

Script To Screen Challenge
The Screenwriters' Workshop seeks short screenplay entries over the coming months from members for the 2009 Script to Screen Challenge.

There will be four contest months with each month requiring a different theme:
April 2009 - REBIRTH
May 2009 - THE GARDEN
June 2009 - CELEBRATION
July 2009 - INDEPENDENCE
The deadline is the 3rd of each month. Writers are encouraged to enter a new script in all four months. Entries will be judged by an independent panel. The winning script will be shot by a Twin Cities production company with a budget of $2000.
*********************************************
AND, of course, if you are a producer or production company, we'll have a Request for Proposals coming out in April for you to submit your proposal on why you are the company to create the script! Look for it in April on the ScreenwritersWorkshop's site.
