Waking up to -22 degrees and waiting for a high above zero seems to correlate to the financial situation our country, and many of us, are facing!
The best way for Minnesota to come out of this deep freeze of a financial situation is to
INVEST IN MINNESOTA!
Legislature is back in session and it is time, once again, to make our voice heard. A unified voice is much stronger than several individuals, and there are a few things that everyone can agree on:
1. JOBS will help stimulate the economy.
2. Our graduating and skilled workers are leaving the state to get mentorship and work elsewhere!
3. Tourism helps stimulate the economy.
4. Movies about, and from, MN are being made elsewhere: NOT SHOWCASING Minnesota!
5. INVESTING in our students, creating JOBS across multiple industries*, enticing tourists all rise from
MAKING MOVIES IN MINNESOTA!
Tonight, there is an OPEN TOWN HALL MEETING at the MN Film & TV Board's new offices.
Friday, January 16th
Open House 5-6 p.m.
Town Meeting 6-7 p.m.
Free parking available in ramp on 5th Ave. North (just north of Designer's Guild)
Designer's Guild Building located in the
Warehouse District (401 North 3rd Street, Suite 440, Minneapolis, MN
Town Hall Meeting will start at 6 p.m. at the Dry
(on the 1st floor of the Designer's Guild Building). JJ's Dry Dock Cafe
will be open from 5 until 7 p.m.
