"Thank you so much for this cot.  Now my 5 year old daugther won't have to sleep on the floor"  quote from recent mom helped that was referred from Emmaus House homeless shelter in Haverhill

PICThe good news is we have outfitted more than 48 complete apartment setups in Sept.

The bad news is, that the warehouse is out of everything. Plus, the weather turned cold and we are completely out of blankets and comforters. We do have coats but the call for warm clothing and blankets is overwhelming.   Please check the list to the left and tell your friends.

It is tough each day to keep telling the more than 184 people waiting for beds and we have nothing to give out.

Paige (pic above) is  also 5 years old and loves her backpack. The wonderful Visiting Nurses Association has been working hard with her family through so many heart operations. With luck, she will go on the transplant list soon.  Keep up that bright spirit Paige.

Correction: Thanks to Hologic in Bedford for BackpPICack Attack Thanks to Pauline Anton and the Sales Admin and Customer Data Quality teams for $800 in monetary support and a huge donation of backpacks and supplies.

Blanket the Valley starts early. We are out of blanket and welcome anything sooner rather than later. Anything clean and warm is very welcomed: comforters, quilts, baby blankets, sleeping bags and throws.

 Big thanks

Pauline King for $80 for a new twin bed through Beds4Kids

Westford Academy J. V. Cheerleading for 20 packs of baby wipes.

Several other people donated wipes and did not leave names. You are in our hearts. Thank you

Betty Peterson for having yet another fantastic fundraiser yard sale for wish and raising $100

"The children were so excited to get the backpacks. Now the parents have one less financial worry. Many of our students do not receive random acts of kindness and I know they are immensely grateful. It was like Christmas in August." Quote from Kathy McCabe social worker for  Clarendon Family Daycare

Alison Spindler (pictured) of Building Impact for inspiring so many companies to donate goods to Wish Kids.  What a great organization
