Thanks to our many monthly online donors.  These dollars help us leverage grants and other donations in addition to helping that month.

Just a personal thanks for all of you that have stepped up on little notice to help us out while Jill is out on medical leave and I had to leave town for a family emergency. You all have kept our doors open. Everybody is recovering well. The fire victims and street homeless you have helped this week in particular are very thankful.

Blankets are all in the family

PictuBTV tolandred here are the Tewksbury HS Cross Country team with Ashley Toland capt. They collected money from the boys and girls teams and then made these no-sew blankets. Her cousin is Alex Corcoran. You may remember Ashley from her stupendous Backpack Attack effort. Good deeds are contagious.

Rachel Collins of Tyngsboro wins Liberty Mutal Essay Contest and donates $500 to Beds4Kids Read whole story

Alex Corcoran of Dracut

Alex is a member of the  Junior Honor Society at Lakeview Junior High School.   He thought this was a good cause because many people can't afford their heating bill and are cold, especially on these cold winter nights. Though they usually collect 30 he raised the goal to 75 blankets and ended up collecting 183! Blankets go out daily to the working poor, street homeless and many families relocating after a homeless shelter stay.
