This Saturday At
The Church On The Corner
Is
Make A Difference 2011

A church if it is going to be effective in its mission must have a living mindset of regularly going beyond its 4 walls. Whereas churches that stay in camp for their own purposes or have a build it and they will come attitude are going to be irrelevant at best and more likely dying in place.

With that in mind, The Church On The Corner will be a part of a nation wide movement Saturday called National Make A Difference Day. To learn more about the day click here or on the image above.

COTC will be making a difference in our mission community by joining with the Solano Avenue Association to remove graffiti from light posts and clean vacant store fronts.

You can be a part of this momentous movement by showing up at the church this Saturday, October 22nd at 9:30. Come with gloves, brushes, sponges, and any helpful work tools. And if you can, please think about contributing cleaning consumables like paper towels, window cleaner, garbage bags etc.

Coffee & donuts will be ready when you show up to get you started. Plus, a celebratory BBQ will be hosted on the church patio at 12:30 PM.

PS- Be sure to wear your COTC shirt and hat. If you don't have one just ask for them when you arrive.
