An NACD Bob Moment: One of my favorite memories was being with one of our families in Alaska. Little 5-year-old Carrie's mom asked her to tell me what her two new words for the week were. She answered "ebullient" and "obstreperous." I said, "Carrie, are you ebullient or obstreperous?" She answered, "Well Bob, sometimes I'm ebullient and sometimes I'm obstreperous; but right now I'm just kind of tranquil." It's amazing what a few minutes of program a day can do for a typical child. |
