Almost all breakfast foods are nutritionally terrible and often  heavy on carbs and sugar- regardless of what the advertising  attempts to tell you.  Start you child's day off well, with really healthy foods and go heavy on the protein at both breakfast and  lunch. Carbs are going to put them to sleep when you are trying to have them at their best for program or school.  Save the carbs for dinner and avoid the sugar all of the time.
