| As we work hard on processing, one of the additional ways that we can affect a child's global function is to look at what they do outside of their program time. A very helpful way to work on global maturity is to increase chores and responsibilities. Even tasks such as assigning a child to be responsible for unloading groceries or moving clothes from the washing machine to the dryer can be helpful. Part of growing up is leaning how to handle responsibilities. To do this children have to be given plenty of opportunities. |
