DSABs, Debilitating Sensory Addictive Behaviors, can stop and even rob normal development. If your child is engaging in DSABs, they are virtually reinforcing broken sensory channels. Be sure to keep children with these issues actively engaged so that the positive work you do with them is not negated. If you are not sure if your child's behavior is a DSAB or not, run it by your NACD support specialist. They will be happy to help you determine the best course of action.
