There will be a Parents meeting for NACD families and those interested in learning more about the National Association of Child Development.

Beverly Giroux will be speaking on the topics:
  • How children learn - receiving and processing information.
  • Expanding short term and working memory
  • Creating a Learning Environment
  • Attention and Learning Difficulties
  • Social and behavior issues

NACD helps typical and accelerated children, as well as those with labels
including, but not limited to ADD/ADHD, LD, Dyslexia, Developmentally
Delayed, Brain Injured, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, PDD, Aspergers and
Autism.

NACD's goal is to help every person reach his or her unlimited potential.
NACD does this by providing TDI:  Targeted Developmental Intervention™ -
individualized programs of activities and exercises to increase global function,
with an emphasis on cognitive development.
