Greetings!
Can you believe that 2011 is a few short weeks away? How is your year ending up-still a struggle or are the puzzle pieces fitting into place?
Come to the Tower Club on Wednesday morning for a great session on Survival of the Fittest -hear some of the most informed minds giving you're their take on not just surviving, but even thriving. Click here for registration details. And BTW-for a budget update: Yesterday the House passed a continuing resolution that funds government operations through December 18, 2010. This is the second CR since the 2011 fiscal year began on October 1, 2010. None of the annual spending bills have been completed yet. The Senate gave final approval to the resolution on December 2, 2010. Why does this matter-budgets and funding are critical to every federal contract. Check out www.wipp.org and get the facts without investing a lot of time. I wish for you all of the best and of course, if we can help you power up your revenues, call us, we want to help. Here's to your success!

Government 3% Withholding Relief Coalition Update from the USCC
This interim guidance states that the 3% withholding for for payment card transactions will not apply. Final guidance will not apply for any calendar year beginning earlier than at least 18 months after the issuance of guidance on payment cards is finalized (and thus will definitely not apply for the 2012 calendar year). This could mean that the possibility is open that it may never be required. To read the interim guide click here.
