What Are People Saying About the TargetGov Experience?

The entire experience was first-rate!  G. Zelitzky

The best part is having the ease of taking part in the teleconference no matter where I had to be that day.  A. Tsakanikas

The teleconference was absolutely "outstanding"
The tool kit as well as yours and Beth's comments were excellent !
Teleconferencing is far more efficient and much less expensive than the alternative.
Thank you,
 J. Whitworth

I think the teleconference format is very convenient...in fact, I actually listened to one of the conferences while driving back from a meeting with Army representative.  Registering and attending is always super easy. R. Alexander

Was impressed with the registration process. Getting the toolkit link was easy. Download was easy.  Dialing in was flawless. Very easy process.  Name withheld as requested

Registration was easy, conference was valuable.  I'll definitely attend other ones.
M. Creager

Greetings!

Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines. Sure, we all deal with them, ignore them and live or die by them. Here are a few more to add to your calendar.

If your business has seen positive growth from 2006 to 2009, you may be a good candidate for INC 5000. Application deadline is Friday April 30, so act now, really. Click here.

If you are a woman who owns her business, or you work for one, you have until Monday May 3 to make official comments to the SBA about the Women's Procurement Rule. Tell them what you like or dislike about it and what you want to see changed. We are very close to getting the law passed in 2000 actually, finally enacted. Speak up now, or don't complain! See story below for links.

On demand: The Government Contracting Institute has on-demand webinars available to you right now. Click here for details. (Snuck that one in-without a deadline!)

Maryland Women in Technology (MDWIT) and Technology Council of Maryland are excited to present this year's women and technology conference: "Global Diversity: Enriching Technology" TOMORROW: April 29. Click here.

Today! Wed, April 28 at 1:00pm ET Smallbizradio: Interviews Gloria Larkin. Call  (347)843-4182 and press "1" and ask...anything!

And another lesson to share: We stepped up to hand deliver a proposal for a contract worth over $50 million, one that took hundreds of hours to put together. Circumstances conspired to cause literally last minute change in "normal" plans. The delivery was not the problem, getting it to the contracting officer BY THE DEADLINE was, of course, critical. I'll spare you the drama. Bottom line, we made it with four minutes to spare. In federal contracting a deadline is a deadline, is a deadline. I did not stop shaking until six hours and a glass (and a half) of wine later. I hope you are never in that position-make every effort to get the response delivered ahead of time, well ahead of the deadline!

PS: If you have Windows 7 and see a messed up title or a white line through the newsletter, we are trying to get that ironed out--technology glitches!

Here's to your success!
