Greetings to all of my overworked friends! And those lucky few who squeezed out a vacation this summer.

If you are pursuing end of fiscal year (Sept 30!) business with the federal government, you know we are in to the final countdown for this fiscal year. This is going to be a banner year with the stimulus spending contracts added into the "regular" annual spend. If you are receiving these contracts, your smile is a mile wide. If you are not, you are probably complaining that the government is spending too much.

However, you can anticipate that there will not be a big drop in contracting as there usually is every October, because there are still many stimulus contracts yet to hit the streets. These will need to run through Oct-Nov-Dec, which, for the educated contractor, is very welcome news!

We're scheduling vacations to California in January and Florida in February-at least that is the plan for now. We worked straight through the summer and are experiencing many last minute contracts still being pushed through, so it is lots of coffee and late nights here.

If you are getting too much sleep and not seeing an increase in your business, call us!

Here's to your success!
