Hello,

We have news for everyone in this newsletter because everyone has old, unwanted electronic equipment -- you know who you are: it's stacked up in closets, storage areas and basements. It is time to reclaim all that wasted space!

We are sponsoring an event to collect all broken and working unwanted electronics. The details are shown in the left column. If you are anywhere near the Columbia, Maryland area, bring them to us on April 22. If ithis is not convenient, please contact your local municipal waste recycling office to find out where you can properly dispose, and hopefully recycle, your unwanted electronics.

It's important--and I bet you will feel better too!

The Tech Tax Has  Been Repealed.
Fight the Tech Tax
On April 8, 2008, Gov. Martin O'Malley signed the repeal of the Computer Services Sales Tax. This shows what businesses can do to have their voices heard by the state government.  Thank you to all of you who participated either by writing your Congressperson and/or attending the rally in Annapolis.  Your efforts have proved fruitful.

As the American workforce continues to age, firms that plan effectively for these new older workers may have special competitive advantages. A Thought Provoking Article: Getting to the Next Level to Solve Problems

No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.
~Albert Einstein~
By: Bill Sharon
We hear a lot about consciousness these days. This attention to a new level of awareness has increasing numbers of people checking their egos, performing acts of kindness and attempting to inject a greater level of civility into our daily discourse. All of which is welcome indeed, but it is less clear how the expansion of consciousness will have any impact on the very serious issues we all face in the world of politics, business and the economy. Einstein's quotation gives us a hint.
