Renewal reminder

On behalf of the Board of Directors, we wish you a very Happy New Year and thank you for your loyalty and continuing Chamber participation - without your ongoing support and membership we would not have an organization focused on local business initiatives critical to our members.

Many of you will have received a membership renewal invoice in December. Your renewal is vital to accomplish the many important services provided through the Chamber. Even though we thrive on volunteer support and have a modest staff, renewals are vital to our success!

We are seeking your support and continued commitment to accomplish even greater things in 2012.  We are pleased to announce plans for a new and enhanced Chamber Directory.  This is an exciting development to be published on-line and in print - the directory will also be mailed to every Arlington household.

Your Chamber continues to be actively involved representing your interests on Town committees and providing a coordinating point for community information. In addition, here is a reminder of the great opportunities gained from your membership:

  • We'll keep you informed and continue to strive to promote think local first initiatives in Arlington
  • We'll promote your business within the membership and local community
  • We'll actively offer networking, marketing and sponsorship opportunities
  • We'll enable representation opportunities to influence town policy makers
  • We'll provide access to a range of valuable business services and continue to enhance your membership with added value benefits exclusive to our members

Please join us in our effort to make Arlington a better place to live and do business - check your in-box and renew your membership today!

Sincerely,

The Arlington Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors

HEALTH INSURANCE UPDATE

Last summer we shared the news that we were working with other local Chambers to form a Group Purchasing Co-operative for health insurance.  We are very pleased to announce that as of last week the  group (MACCE) was formally approved to be a Health Insurance Group Purchasing Cooperative.

The next step is to begin the negotiation process with insurance carriers with a view to offering our members preferential insurance premiums.  We will keep you informed of developments as the process moves forward.
