The Town of Arlington has recently formed a new committee: Scenic Byway/Tourism and Economic Development. The committee, in collaboration with the Chamber, plans to create programs which may be very beneficial to all Arlington businesses and residents.

Bob Bowes, of Bowes Real Estate is the liaison on this committee, representing the Chamber. Bob shared "the work of this committee may be the most important collaboration between the Town and its business owners in many years."

There is a way that you can help. The committee would like all business owners to collect zip code data for all of its transactions for the month of December. It may be collected in any manner that you choose. In early January you will be provided with information on how the committee will collect the data.   Once collected, the committee will tabulate and assess the results. All participating businesses will be provided with a copy of the results.  For more information, contact Bob Bowes

As more initiatives are developed, you will be notified by the Chamber, or the committee.
