FOODS FOR THE COLD AND FLU SEASON
1. Garlic - Get some in your diet. Raw form is actually best, but you may turn off more than just vampires if you eat it that way. So to keep Buffy from being your only friend, chop up a few cloves and add it to a vegetable or meat dish for dinner.
2. Since we cannot store Vitamin C (a natural immune system enhancer) in our bodies, we need to consume it
regularly. You should aim for five servings a day of fruits and
vegetables which are rich in this vital vitamin. Such foods include
bell peppers (especially red), cabbage, broccoli, leafy greens, kiwi
fruit, citrus fruits, and berries.
3.Eat brightly colored fruits and vegetables. Foods
rich in the nutrients are readily available in the fall and winter
months including winter squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin.
Additional sources include cooked spinach, apricots, and mangoes.
Instead of a russet potato, substitute a delicious sweet potato.

Sit on the edge of a bench.
Grip the edge of the pad and lean back slightly, extending your legs
down and away and keeping your heels 4 to 6 inches off the floor. Bend
your knees and slowly raise your legs toward your chest. At the same
time, lean forward with your upper body, allowing your chest to
approach your thighs. Return to the starting position. Perform three
sets of 12 -15 repetitions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As you may have found, crunches aren't enough to flatten your abs. Ab exercises will build strength, especially if you focus on core strength
but, if there's a layer of fat there, you'll never see them. The body can't
be forced to lose fat in a particular area by exercising the muscles
directly under that area. What you should be focusing on is losing body
fat and gaining a little muscle.
