Welcome our new staff!

Janet Staal and Nicholas Kwiek will be joining our Outdoor Educator team this month.  They will be working primarily with our 3-6-9 program.  These positions are generously funded through the Student Advancement Foundation to teach the 3rd, 6th, and 9th grade programs we offer for Grand Rapids Public Schools

Janet and Nicholas both have extensive teaching backgrounds and great enthusiasm for engaging kids to learn in an outdoor setting.  Nicholas is even fluent in Spanish!  We welcome them both to the Blandford team.

United Way & Mercantile Bank volunteers

Through the United Way Day of Caring, Mercantile Bank employees helped install a critical stream bank erosion control project.  They also did some meadow maintenance work and driveway shrub clearing.  We are grateful for the hours the group put in.  Our property continues to improve thanks to groups of volunteers like Mercantile Bank.
