Closed Labor Day Weekend for renovations
 Our visitor center will be closed Saturday September 4th through Monday the 7th for floor painting. We are beginning the renovation work funded by the Bill & Bea Idema Foundation. The lobby is getting a new paint job over the weekend; the exterior will get new paint in the next couple of weeks.
Our trails remain open all weekend from dawn till dusk.

September 11 Saturday Family Program Outdoor Living Skills, 2-3pm, $3
Outdoor safety - a presentation on basic things families should be prepared for when enjoying the outdoors, such as how to identify poison ivy and other plants that can hurt/make you uncomfortable, what to do if you get stung by a bee, how to stay safe when hiking, etc.

Fall Harvest Festival Saturday only, October 16th 10 AM to 5 PM
We need your help in several ways to make this event a success. Can you help?
Before the event: 1) Put up posters around town 2) Donate corn stalks, straw bales, and sunflowers for event decorations. 3) Help us find event sponsors
The day of the event: 1) Bring snacks or munchies for our many volunteers to enjoy on break. 2) Volunteer at one of our many activity stations
