GE Volunteer Day
GE brought over 100 volunteers to Blandford on Friday the 13th, and they put in over 400 collective hours of work. They cut logs, split and stacked firewood, built trail bridges, spread mulch on trails, trimmed a meadow, and removed old fencing. They did more in 4 hours than our small maintenance crew could accomplish in a full month! Kudos to staff Mark and Becky for having the work stations ready for 100+ volunteers!
We can't thank GE enough for all their support and hard work. Here are a few pictures of them hard at it.
THANKS GE!

Adopt a Trail
Jeanne Griffin is our first trail adopter! She is still deciding which trail and what section, then she'll begin trimming bushes and shrubs and adding mulch when she has time.
You too can adopt a trail. Whether with your family, a group of friends, or by yourself, we have 4 miles of trails that need TLC. One of our many trails. |
