Saturday Family Fun
 This Saturday, June 12th, is our first ever Field of Green Festival. The event will be from 11a - 4p and will feature five bands and family-friendly, eco-friendly activities and vendors. We will have food and drinks available but feel free to bring your own picnic. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for kids age 4-12, and free for kids 3 and under.
The following Saturday, June 19th, come out for "What's the Buzz?" Don Rewa will be here to talk about the source of a tasty natural sugar, honey. Using a live observation hive as a teaching tool, he will talk about honeybee biology, pollination, honeycombs, and why all bees are not created equal. The program is from 2 - 3p and is $3. Please RSVP by calling 735-6240 for this program.

Summer Day Camp
 We still have openings in many of our day camp and week-long day camp programs. You can download our full camp guide here to see all the fun and hands-on fun your kid can have at Blandford Nature Center! We also have scholarships available to students with financial needs.

5k Committee Wanted
 We're beginning to plan a trail run 5k here at Blandford for TBA date in August and are looking for a few volunteers to help plan! If you're interested, please contact Annoesjka@blandfordnaturecenter.org.

Wildlife Center Update
Thank you to all of you for proving how much our Wildlife Education and Rehab Center means to you! We have raised $12,500 towards our $15,000 challenge grant to underwrite the Wildlife Center for nearly a year (it takes $33,000 annually, part-time). We are confident you will help us reach our goal so we are now accepting birds of prey and reptiles that are in need of our rehabilitation services.
