Has the Final Countdown Begun?
At our 2011 Understanding the Times conference, Dr. Mark Hitchcock said, "It seems in our world today that the other shoe is about to drop, doesn't it? There is another shoe to drop and we're on a collision course with destiny. People everywhere seem to have this collective sense that ominous events are out there on the horizon . . . Has the final countdown begun?"
Consider the Middle East. How about the state of the church today? Israel and Jerusalem are front-and-center as prophesied (and blamed for all the world's problems.) Christians are marginalized as intolerant bigots. Greed and corruption are the engines that run everything.
But as Bible-believing Christians, we don't have to stop at the bad news! We have a glorious Heavenly home and Jesus is coming again -- soon.
