Five Meaningful Words
Below is a link to a video that made its rounds following Veteran's Day. You may have seen it already. It is worth watching again to hear five meaningful words that you may have overlooked. They are the last words spoken by the narrator.
We all have our successes and our failures. What makes us who we are is whether or not we would echo those same five words at the end of the day.
They are easy to speak when we win; they should be just as comfortable when we don't.
Did you put out your best effort to make the sale - and then lose it? Maybe it was the best proposal you ever produced and your best presentation to a client. Still, somehow, it came up short.
Did you try everything you knew to help someone and still they rejected you and your ideas? What will happen the next time they - or someone else - asks for help?
The five meaningful words that serve as the test of whether or not we gave it our best effort are: "and I'd do it again."

Being able to say "I'd do it again" indicates you did the right thing. The next time you will do it differently and, most likely, better. Still you know you did the right thing. Teach Others! Chuck Reaves, CSP, CPAE, CSO 800. MR. REAVES (800.677.3283) |

We are seeing recovery in many industries and many companies within those industries. Now is the time to be a game changer.
"Motivation: the combination of education and opportunity."
That's my definition, anyway. I am seeing a lot of opportunity for many of my clients right now. Make sure you're mentally prepared to address the ones in your area.
