The difference in good and great may be smaller than you think.
In major league baseball in the United States there is a Hall of Fame for the best of the best. It is in a place called Cooperstown, New York, and it is the goal of every major league baseball player to be inducted there. |

What does it take? Well, Babe Ruth was arguably the most famous name there until Hank Aaron broke Ruth's home run record. Many of the players immortalized there earned their position by having extraordinary batting averages - the ability to hit the ball more often than others.
So, how many more hits does a player need to make it to the Hall of Fame? Surprisingly, about one a month.
