Mr. Peter Gobel
Associate Principal for General Studies
Mr. Peter Gobel, our newly appointed Associate Principal for General Studies, has been an extremely successful English language teacher and chairman of the English Language Department at Fasman Yeshiva High School.
Mr. Gobel holds a Masters degree from National Louis University, majoring in Secondary Education, with a background in curriculum development and school improvement. He also holds a Masters degree in Theater/Project and Production Management from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Before coming the Yeshiva, Mr. Gobel taught 7th and 8th grades in the Chicago suburbs and worked as an ACT Test tutor. He is a member of the National Education Association and Illinois Education Council.
In recent years, our General Studies program has taken major strides in attaining greater achievement in academic excellence. In preparation for his transition, Mr. Gobel was mentored by Dr. David Schusteff. It is our hope that with Mr. Gobel's energy and leadership, Fasman Yeshiva High School will achieve even greater success.
