Greetings!
Many of us have a hard time knowing when to walk away from the demands that are constantly calling for our attention. To take a break without feeling guilty or selfish can be tough. The truth is that there will always be more things to do. So what's a busy woman to do? - Recognize that if I don't take a break - you will break, physically, mentally or both and what use will you be if you have a break down?
- When you feel overwhelmed or stressed out know that it is time to step back and take a time out. Don't keep pushing to get things done. Go for a walk or talk to a friend to get some perspective.
- Learn to delegate tasks to others instead of trying to do it all yourself.
- Taking time out to be by yourself and enjoying some quite time is important. The truth is that so many people are relying on you, and in order to give them your best, you need to take care of yourself.
So go ahead, sit down, prop up your feet, close your eyes and don't listen to the nagging voice of your To Do list. You'll be glad you did. |

Growing Greens
The rising cost of gas
and food definitely added to my motivation to start a vegetable garden
this Spring. Hubby and I have always done a few tomato plants every
summer, but this year we decided to build a raised bed and really grow
some serious veggies. The kids joined in on the fun this weekend. I am
looking forward to a bumper crop of tomatoes, peppers, egg plants and
lots of herbs this Summer.
