A recurring theme for me over the past six weeks has been a deep readiness to release all that no longer serves me.
So I started with the most obvious: my coffee obsession... and spent the first week of June sick with migraines.
Exhaustion for weeks following caffeine withdrawal forced me to start making some serious choices. I had to lovingly release myself from obligations that I knew were simply distractions from what I really needed to be doing.
Less commitments suddenly opened up free time and energy to begin purging my surroundings and honoring my loved ones more.
Next thing you know, I'm dropping emotional baggage I didn't even realize I was still carrying!
Suddenly my journey is a little lighter and brighter again, simply by honoring the truth that "the only constant is change."
A healing shift occurred for me that easily, in less than six weeks! But you know what? I didn't do it alone. I had the support of fellow
health coaches and
colleagues, a brilliantly insightful
mentor, a powerful spiritual
healer, and my beautiful friends and family who respect the journey. It doesn't get much better!
One of the keys to feeling good is to hang around with people who like you. Also, seek out the company of people you admire and aspire to be like. These are the people who will add joy to your life. They'll dare you to live more fully by their example. They will be your inspiration when times are good and your support when things get tough.
