The final month of 2008 has arrived and Winter is nearly upon us. I'm about ready to put all things past to rest and clear the table for a new and exciting year.
This is truly the time for being the changes we wish to see in the world. Don't you agree? We are the ones we've been waiting for.
Because of my strong interfaith belief that we are all children of the same Universe, and my desire to include peace as an integral part of wellness, last month I became an ordained Reverend Minister of Peace through the Universal Life Church Monastery. I was then delighted to discover that several of my friends and colleagues are already members of this fellowship.
Please allow me to share with you a little Metta (loving kindness) prayer for the holidays...
May all beings be peaceful. May all beings be happy. May all beings be safe. May all beings awaken to the light of their true nature. May all beings be free. Namaste'

As you may know, I am a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition where I received my training as a health counselor. Each weekend, top experts in nutrition and wellness, like Andrew Weil and Deepak Chopra, came to teach at our school.
We learned about making food and lifestyle choices to nourish our bodies and minds, and we learned how to share that knowledge with others. I got valuable tools to help launch my wellness business, including marketing training, business cards and a website to start me off.
The program was an amazing experience. It changed my life and opened up incredible opportunities.
