Urban Ed Receives Major Grants!troubled_teen2
Thanks to the District of Columbia's Justice Grants Administration (JGA), the Commonweal Foundation and the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, Urban Ed is one of only five organizations selected to be a part of a special city-wide initiative to help troubled teens in need receive constructive and sustainable services to avoid further penetration into the legal system. Now in our new facility, we are gearing up to address the critical needs of teens between the ages of 14-16 gain academic support, leadership development and of course our proven business and technical skill development. Urban Ed thanks these key funders.
Help Teens Get on the Right Trackteens_in_lab
The JGA and Commweal funding is very significant to our program expansion and enhancements! However, we still have a $30,000 gap to be able to fully support teens from throughout the city. We need your help in bridging the gap. Teens need guidance and support. Click here to make a contribution to help a teen get on the right track. Federal employees, contribute thru CFC#34840.
