The summer is finally ending, and, after a very sleepy August and early September, Rome is reawakening! We'll resume our weekly editions this Friday, September 11, bringing you news of Rome's concerts, operas, theater, museum and gallery exhibits, movies in English and much more. And you'll be able to click through to preview trailers of most concerts, events, and movies.
We'll resume our monthly newsletters in October, bringing you news of events in the month ahead, so you can get tickets and make plans in advance.
Some of the events we'll be telling you about this season:
The Flamenco! Festival, already underway at the Parco della Musica, featuring some of Spain's most outstanding dancers and musicians.
 The Belcanto Festival, at the Parco della Musica featuring Rossini's Viaggio a Reims conducted by Kent Nagano. September 16-26.
 The annual RomaEuropa Festival at various venues in the heart of Rome, spotlighting theater, dance and multi-media from all over Europe, September 23- December 2.
 The Rome Film Festival, always an exciting time, with hundreds of screenings and events at the Parco della Musica. October 15-23
