Launch Party & Book Signing for South Carolina Mystery Author Ronald Chapman
Greenville, SC, August 24, 2012 - South Carolina author Ronald Chapman will be signing copies of his new mystery novel, A Killer's Grace (Seeing True Press, paperback, $12.95), at his launch party at Fiction Addiction on Saturday, September 15th, from 3-5pm. This event is open to the public, and we will be serving Southwestern-themed refreshments.
From the high desert of New Mexico comes a tale of mystery, murder, and redemption.
When journalist Kevin Pitcairn receives a disturbing letter from a serial killer, he is drawn into a compelling journey with profound psychological and spiritual implications, not just for the murderer, but for himself and society as a whole. As he tries to investigate and then tell the story, he finds himself battling his own inner demons and sordid history. Events conspire to propel an isolated matter to a national stage and audiences that are increasingly hostile. Amid the rugged terrain and beautiful culture of New Mexico, a host of characters emerge to surround Pitcairn. Some present great challenges while others ally themselves with him as he is swept toward a destiny he can neither foresee nor control. Forced to explore the roots of human psychology and sanity, Pitcairn must navigate moral and philosophical realms. What is the nature of evil? What powers of choice do humans actually possess? How may we be redeemed? And in the end, by what means may we reconcile with ourselves?
Ronald Chapman is owner of an international speaking and consulting company, Magnetic North LLC. In addition to international accreditation as a speaker and national awards for radio commentary, he is the author of two works of non-fiction, Seeing True: Ninety Contemplations in Ninety Days and What a Wonderful World: Seeing Through New Eyes; and he is the producer of two sets of CDs, Seeing True: The Way of Success in Leadership and Seeing True: The Way of Spirit. He holds a Masters in Social Welfare from The University at Albany (New York). When not engaged in his work, Ron is an avid reader and sculptor.
