Happy Labor Day!

If it weren't for the calendar, I would probably forget that this year is flying by so quickly.  It's September and we've harvested our last vegetables, readied the garden for autumn and are anxiously awaiting the days when the leaves start to fall.  There's already a morning chill and the dew is colder underfoot but the sun is still warm and I'm sure we're looking at quite a few more scorching days.

First I should tell you that we seem to have gotten our wires crossed and The Loner: Dead Man's Gold is set to be released this October instead of this month as I previously thought.  It will be hitting Wal Mart shelves in October, so remember to keep a look out for it in your area!

I also want to let you know that if we haven't heard from you in a while, you'll need to make sure you keep your account current by checking or updating your details with us from time to time. This insures that you get the newsletter each month and aren't automatically unsubscribed.

Now, with all of the housekeeping out of the way, we have some more exciting things to announce!

September Release - Betrayal In The Ashes

Betrayal In The Ashes As America continues its struggle to rise from the ashes of apocalypse, Europe is slowly dying. Cannibals, looters and vandals have overtaken the streets of the once-great cities. And Bruno Bottger, the Neo-Nazi monster, has brought forth a new Reich - bigger, stronger and more chillingly efficient than ever. There is no force in Europe that has a snowball's chance in hell of stopping him. Only one force in what's left of the world can do the job: Ben Raines and the SUSA Rebels.

August Review Contest Winner!

Congratulations to Bob Hannon, our August contest winner.  Bob will be receiving the Graphic Audio edition of The First Mountain Man as well as a copy of The Loner: Dead Man's Gold upon its release.

As you may remember, each month this year we are drawing a winner from all of the reviews/comments we receive. To be entered to win September's drawing, send your book reviews to september@williamjohnstone.net and you'll automatically be entered to win.
With school back in session and Labor Day coming up this weekend, I know everyone is busy and has their mind on other things, but we should all take a moment to say a prayer for those in California who are currently threatened by the bushfires - whether it be those displaced from their homes or those brave firefighters battling the blaze on the front line.

I hope you all have a blessed holiday weekend and enjoy the extra day of rest.

Until next time, keep your powder dry.
