Greetings!
February was a great month with a lot of excitement around here, especially when Matt Jensen hit USA Today's bestseller list and stayed there for the better part of the month. March has started out (already) looking like the new release of Frank Morgan in The Last Gunfighter - Slaughter will be hitting the bestseller list too!
March also brings the reissue of Terror In The Ashes and I'd first like to thank all of you who sent in your thoughts and comments this past month. Speaking of which, I have to apologize to those who have not received a reply from their February emails. The Ashes series has created quite a stir with thousands of people wanting to know more about the Tri-States philosophy found in the Ashes series. It might take a week or two, but I'll be getting those replies out to you soon.
We also have some exciting news this month about the upcoming releases from J.A. Johnstone. That's right, you'll soon be seeing J.A. Johnstone on the shelves with an explosive new series!

The Last Gunfighter: SLAUGHTER
Frank Morgan has once again moved on, away from the peaceful little town in Nevada where he'd served as the town marshal. Another kid with little skill and the desire to be the man who killed "The Drifter" lies buried in Boot Hill. To make sure the town remained peaceful, Morgan bade his son Conrad Browning and Conrad's beautiful wife Rebel good-bye and rode west.
At the behest of his attorneys, Frank makes his way to Los Angeles, to investigate the ongoing battle between the cattle barons and the wildcatter oil companies that sprang up all over the range surrounding the town. There is plenty of action in this fast paced novel. Hang onto your hats, folks, you're in for a bumpy, surprise a minute, ride. Definitely a five star read.

TERROR IN THE ASHES
Having reclaimed American soil from the savage armies of terrorists, lawless street gangs, and mutant Night People, Ben Raines and his Rebel army have a new mission: to free the British Isles from a tyranny of evil oppression. After Rebel forces establish a beachhead at the Irish seaport of Galway, Raines orders a massive armoured assault to drive out the mercenary army of the insidious warlord Jack Hunt.
The Rebels' search-and-destroy mission crushes enemy resistance...but reinforcements for Hunt's crumbling army bring with them the most hideous foe Ben Raines has yet faced. Raines and his Rebels must choose between saving themselves or sacrificing their cause to save the lives of innocent civilians trapped in a beleaguered land.

THE LONER .. From J. A. Johnstone coming May 2009!
The first of three books in the exciting new series from J.A. Johnstone.
Conrad Browning and his wife Rebel have it all, or so they think. Conrad has even mended fences with his notorious father, Frank Morgan and when the young couple move from the East to Carson City Nevada, Conrad is amazed by how his wife thrives in the hot, arid desert town.
But Conrad's life is turned upside down when Rebel is kidnapped and then murdered before his very eyes despite the paid ransom for her safe release. Injured, Conrad arrives at a reckoning and starts down a trail taken by his father, The Drifter, many years before. He's determined to find and kill the men responsible for Rebel's death and the person who hired them.
There's plenty of blood and broken hearts in this new book by J.A. Johnstone. Definitely a FIVE STAR read.~~~~ B. Colin Cubbage
