I hope you've had a wonderful Christmas and are making plans for your New Year celebrations.
I've been taking a couple of weeks to recharge my batteries ahead of a very busy and exciting January, with lots of overseas travel ahead to kick start what could be a landmark year for our business.
Christmas Eve and Day were spent with some close friends followed by the traditional Boxing Day football match and the joy of seeing my team, Charlton Athletic, grab a thrilling injury time winner to top our division by eight points. It doesn't get much better!
In keeping with the time of year, I wanted to use this scheduled edition of 'Connecting is not Enough' to simply thank you for all of your support over 2011 and wish you the very best for 2012. I hope that you have your most successful year ever.
With a strong network behind us we can all achieve so much and confound everyone who talks down prospects for business and for individuals in the year ahead. We do, however, need that network more than ever before. I firmly believe that the most successful people will be those who can both forge the strongest relationships and who are not afraid to both offer and ask those connections for help when it's needed.
I'll be back with more networking tips and videos on the 19th January 2012. In the meantime, have a great New Year.
