Clearing your Closet
If you haven't cleared out your wardrobe closet yet, you are overdue. Ideally, Spring is the time to sort and grow, but you'll still initiate positive energy by addressing your closet now.
Here's some tips on getting the clutter from your life: Sorting: 3 Rules
- If it doesn't fit - donote it!
- If you haven't worn it in a year - donote it!
- If it's worn or stained - it's a rag!
Purchasing: 1 golden Rule Don't purchase anything until you have purged; you'll adore your new garments and they'll have a front and center position in your closet.

Color and Comfort and Style 2007 is the Year of the Pig or boar in the Chinese calendar and the fashion industry has translated the Pig into color, comfort & style.
Still, not everyone can "pull off" all the looks the designers have created this year. Here's a few tips to keep you looking your personal best.
This years garments come in colors that are vibrant, soft, neutral and white is suddenly very " in". You can have it all.
- Remember to wear your best colors near your face; colors that compliment your eye color.
- Have pear shaped body? A shirt dress or wrap dress will certainly suit you.
- Though wide belts are back in - be careful, they're not for busty women.
- City Shorts - cut right above or below the knee suit almost everyone. They can be worn casually or dressed up with a great heel. Treat yourself to a pair of Peep Toe heels.
- Metalic flats are also in, but if shiny isn't you, choose a neutral color instead.

Personality and Feng Shui Feng Shui is based on the premise that individuals are energetically
linked to their environments and that their prosperity is enhanced by
harmonious and balanced surroundings. Surround yourself with only
things you love and you'll create an environment that brings you pure
pleasure.
Perfectionist? Pioneer? Philosopher? Pleasure Seeker? Peace Maker? Choose the personality that best describes you and learn what design elements are most suited to your home and work environments.
- Do you tend to civilize, organize or elevate? Then ovals and rounded shapes will please the Perfectionist in you and your colors are pastels & whites and metalics.
- Are you contemplative, creative, a being creature? Then you're likely a Philosopher and your design elements are asymmetrical shapes, dark colors, fluid fabrics.
- If charismatic & dramatic best describes your personality, then red
and purples will compliment the Pleasure Seeker in you. Try angular and pointed shapes
and life-like fabrics
- Are you competitive, sporty, a doer? You'll find that greens and blues are your colors as a Pioneer and columnar shapes will please you; use plant based fabric with sporty & comfortable styling.
- If you consider yourself committed, a nurturer and traditional then you're likely a Peace maker. Using earth tone colors, boxy shapes and textured fabrics will change the way your rooms feel to you.
By using the Five Element theory in your home or work space will create an environment that is harmonious and balanced to you.
