Young Professionals "Back to Business Bash" huge success

Nearly 400 persons attended the first time event at the Rectrix Aerodrome Center at the Barnstable Municipal Airport in Hyannis. Various Cape restaurants were on hand with food and drink; and all proceeds benefited your Cape and Islands United Way

the first Cape Cod Young Professionals "Back
to Business Bash."

2007 "Day of Caring" this Wednesday, September 19
|
|
The seventh annual Day of Caring, sponsored
by the Cape and Islands United Way and
chaired by Citizens Bank, will take place on
Wednesday, September 19, 2007.
According to Marilyn Agulnick-House, Senior
Vice-President of Citizens Bank, "this is a
collaboration between the Cape and Islands
United Way and our business community with a
volunteer effort to help human services
organizations get some things done that might
otherwise tap resources needed for their
critical services."
Some 300 individuals from various businesses
will provide fall clean up, general
maintenance, administrative and other
assistance for the day at more than 20
organization sites. Participating businesses
include Bank of America, Bank of Cape Cod,
Cape Cod Cooperative Bank, Cape Cod Five,
Citizens Bank, Community Bank, Eastern Bank,
Rockland Trust, Sovereign Bank, Shepley and
TD Banknorth.

As part of the final day of the Cape Land and
Sea Harvest Festival at the harbor in Hyannis
the Oyster Fest offers plenty of "you know
