GRAB AND GO AT THE CO-OP DELI

Scott Pierson, Deli Manager, knows your time is important! He's designed his Deli shelves and offerings to meet the needs of busy Co-op members.

In The Door
Erin's In The Door

On the fly? Need to fill that hungry stomach? If you're near the Syracuse Real Food Co-op here is the drill. Swing your vehicle of choice into a parking spot outside the Co-op. Enter the front door and turn left.

Grab The Sammie
Grab The Sammie

Proceed straight to the Deli Case and grab a Sammie or salad. (Now here is where some shoppers lose a little time on the stop watch. I still have a little Olympics lingo left.) There is such a great

 selection it's hard to choose.

Grab The Drink
Grab The Drink. Watch Out Gabe!

Here's a tip. Pre-select for speed. Now look to your left. Pick a drink. Same deal here as with the Sammie, many great drink selections are
available. Pre-select! OK, is that it? Chips you say? Just slide to your right ten paces and turn around.

Grab The Chips
Grab The Chips

Grab your bag of chips and head to the cashier you passed on the way into the store. Hopefully you are first in line. Pay the Piper grab up your goodies and out the door you go to your conveyance. My total time on a "GRAB AND GO" run

Pay The Piper
Pay The Piper, (Leah)

was 2 minutes. I bought one of Scott's Buffalo Seitan Sammies, a Tea's Tea drink and a bag of Food Should Taste Good Tortilla Chips. Paid $8.87 with tax and was back to my car. Then I had to go back inside the Co-op and apologize to the guy

Out The Door
Out The Door. A 2 Minute Drill. Thanks Erin! Bye!

I jumped in front of to be first in line at the register. Hey, it was a time trial and I wanted the result to sound good for this article. Thank goodness he understood. Since Deli Clerk, Erin Close, is leaving us soon to pursue her life's chosen work Scott talked her into modeling for the "GRAB AND GO" pictorial tutorial. Grocery Clerk, Gabe Lupia, our newest staff member, just happened to be at the wrong place at the right time and literally got pushed into participation. Welcome Gabe! Goodbye Erin and lots of success!!
