| Welcome! |
Dear CDBF Community-
It's time!
The 12th Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival has arrived -- 100 traditional and contemporary performances, dozens of cultural demonstrations and exhibits, over 70 food and gift vendors, and 51 teams competing in the thrilling ancient sport of Dragon Boat Racing, this Saturday and Sunday!
We're also very excited to share the news that actor John Cho (Star Trek, Harold and Kumar) will be at the festival Saturday, registering voters at the Organizing for America booth in our Marketplace.
Whether you're a first-timer to the festival or a veteran, we have new ways to entertain you (a Band Stage, a Martial Arts Stage, two Taste of Asia Food Courts) and more ways to keep you cool cool (misting tents and shade netting canopies).
By the way, I'd like to give a big shout-out to our 2012 festival sponsors who are listed on the right. Without their support we couldn't throw this wonderful annual party for you!
This final pre-festival newsletter has links to help you get the most of CDBF 2012, from a schedule at a glance and a site map to tips for festival first-timers. So plan your visit, park at Sports Authority Field and take our shuttle buses to the park, and have a great time!
See you at the festival,
Erin Yoshimura

| CDBF at a glance: Festival schedule and map | The most asked questions we get at the CDBF office include "When does the Opening Ceremony Start?" and "When do the shuttle buses run from Sports Authority Field?"
The answers, my friends aren't blowing in the wind -- they're right here on one page, where you can see a schedule and a map, CDBF at a Glance. |
| Don't forget: Park at Sports Authority Field |
Avoid being ticketed and towed, and help CDBF be good neighbors. The hassle-free parking for the festival is at Sports Authority Field at Mile High, which costs $5 per vehicle, with free shuttle buses to and from the park.
They'll run every few minutes all weekend long, from 6:30am-8pm.
