| Welcome! | Greetings!
Wow. Thanks to everyone who helped make the 10th Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival a great success, with about 100,000 guests attending for the fourth year in a row!
I want to express my appreciation to all the volunteers -- over 300 people signed up to help all weekend -- and to the festival's Operations Committee, Board of Directors, Marketplace and Taste of Asia vendors, Non-Profit Partners, performers, Race Teams and of course our sponsors. The festival simply cannot happen every year without all these groups of people working together to bring you the event.
And congratulations to the winners of the dragon boat races in all divisions, and to the winners of our annual Culinary Contest (the festival's best food vendors, chosen by expert judges) and winners of our fundraising raffle and new Passport To Asia promotion!
We're planning a big Birthday Party to celebrate our 10th year on October 15 -- save the date and stay tuned for more details.
We hope you'll be able to join us for our birthday bash!
By the way, if you enjoyed the festival and/or want to help us continue promoting pan-Asian culture, please consider donating online to our Float Our Boats Campaign to help CDBF thrive for the next 10 years! Every dollar you give comes to us, and it's easy and secure.
Best regards,
Erin Yoshimura

This year, the Culinary Contest judges were veteran Denver restaurateur Leo Goto (a past CDBF Honorary Patron), News 7 TV chef Mick Rosacci of Tony's Market, and Denver Post Saturday Features Editor Elana Ashanti Jefferson.
Here are the First Place winners for Meals and Desserts. You can see all the winners listed on www.cdbf.org.

DONATE AND HELP FLOAT OUR BOATS |
Did you enjoy the 10th Annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival?
Producing a large event like this takes a lot of resources and funds each year. While we're grateful to our many hard-working volunteers, we need your help to ensure that we'll be celebrating many more birthdays for the festival.
We're trying to raise $20,000 by the end of the year, with people like you donating $10 (or more is great too!) to move the dragon boats a little closer to our goal.
We partner with an innovative Denver organization, GivingFirst, to process your online donations.
When you donate to CDBF through GivingFirst, the Community First Foundation will pay the credit card processing fees. So every dollar you donate goes straight to our campaign. This is a great way to maximize your generous donation in support of the largest pan-Asian celebration in Colorado.
