United Nations
As part of our work for the World Heritage Alliance for Sustainable Tourism, DV was invited to speak at the recent Alliance conference in New York City. During the two-day conference, participants from over 40 industry-leading companies (including Fairmont Hotels, Belize Tourism Board, Big Island Visitors Bureau, Mandarin Oriental Hotels, Mexico Boutique Hotels, Green Hotels of Costa Rica, Jordan Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities, and others) heard about 2008 plans to promote and conserve UNESCO World Heritage sites around the world.

The event culminated with a dinner at the United Nations, delegate dining room. DV is supporting the Alliance members via on-site staff educational seminars about sustainable tourism and protecting nearby World Heritage sites in countries like Jordan, Costa Rica, Mexico, Belize, Dominica and others.

Many travel suppliers and destination CVB's engage their agent supports via expensive live training events, often spending tens of thousands of dollars on catering, shipping, printing, travel and lost productivity away from the office.

While live outreach remains important, consider how many seller of your product/destination you don't reach by depending on expensive live education as your primary outreach expense. What's the solution?

Let qualified learner come to you via a dynamic, 24/7, measurable educational program that invests your training budget in tangible results and not catering bills! With a e-learning program designed, developed and supported by DV your resort or destination can produce truly educated (and tested) sales supporters while measuring their sales activity.

The course takes about 90 minutes to complete, and includes our 50-page full-color Puerto Vallarta Study Guide! What's unique is that we've just added individual hotel lessons to the campus.

This effort showcases how a destination course can integrate individual resort education, paid for by the resorts that wish to particiapte. This way, a broad range of partners can collaborate in educating agents from a single training platform!

Whether in a traditional seminar setting or an interactive cyber-class, connecting your destination or resort with motivated, qualified and tested sales supporters is our mission. Learn more about how DV can INCREASE your travel agent LEARNERS while DECREASING your TRAINING INVESTMENT.
