Participants will receive a free copy of the book The Children of Willesden Lane, a heart-wrenching story by Mona Golabek about her mother as a teenage girl living in Vienna, Austria in the 1940s. Golabek's mother escapes persecution by the Nazis via the Kindertransport to London, leaving her family, friends and normal life behind. She was a prodigy pianist whose music helped her cope and survive. Seminar participants will engage in her experiences through her story and her music. The seminar is free and open to the public.
