Arts, Culture & Heritage Brochure: Northern NH isn't just a place to swim, bike and hike - it's a center for great music and theater, and for learning about heritage, art and craft. Each summer we print a brochure to help visitors and residents find exciting performance and viewing opportunities, highlighting more than 50 member organizations and businesses. You can pick up a copy at any state rest area or at cultural venues and hospitality sites throughout the region. If you want one mailed to you, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to AANNH Guide, HC64 Box 223, Wonalancet NH 03897. Or you can download the brochure as a pdf from our website. Please encourage your hosts at inns and restaurants to share them with guests. If you own a business and want multiple copies to distribute, give us a call at 323-7302.

2008 Arts in Education Conference Comes North: "Dreaming Mountains--Exploring the White Mountains through the Arts" takes place September 26 to 28 at the Highland Center in Crawford Notch. Visit our website to download the brochure, registration form and workshop details.

Promoting, Supporting and Sustaining
Arts, Culture and Heritage in the North Country

We're pleased to present our ArtsNorth e-bulletin for you and your guests, arranged by sub-regions from north to south and by date. Please be sure to confirm event details prior to attending. Use our "jump to" function (in the column to the left under the In This Issue section), which allows you to go directly to your geographic areas of interest. You can view our complete ArtsNorth calendar for additional details, and find events beyond the dates in this bulletin in our Plan-Ahead Arts Calendar. Links to both calendars are available in the Quick Links section. Please note that Arts Alliance member organizations are indicated with our member icon. We appreciate our members, and encourage you to attend their events -- and invite you, too, to join us as an individual, artist, family, business, school or institutional member (see http://aannh.org/membership.php for membership information).

If your organization is presenting a cultural event, email details to us as early as possible at events@aannh.org and we'll include it in the online ArtsNorth calendar and in our email bulletins. You can simply add events@aannh.org to your press list. Deadline for the next bulletin, covering August 7-20, is July 31.

We're working to give you easy access to information on summer arts programs throughout the region. Check out new links on our website, www.aannh.org, including Free Summer Concerts in Northern New Hampshire, Summer Cultural Activities for Kids & Families, and Classical Music in the North Country. We'd appreciate your feedback, additions, corrections, and ideas on how we can best help you find what you're looking for.
