As you get out and work in your garden, remember when preparing your soil for planting, it is important to turn or rototill the soil to add air, which your plants roots need for proper growth. Work the soil when it is moist enough to dig easily, but not so wet that the soil is muddy and heavy. Working the soil when it is too wet will damage the soil structure. A clump of soil should crumble easily in your hand when you apply a little pressure, that tells you it is just right to work with. Don't forget to add
