| Dear
Happy winter solstice, the first day of winter and more importantly, the shortest day of the year. With it comes the knowledge that the days will start getting longer, which mean spring will soon come.
Hopefully your shopping is finished, your packages wrapped, your house all decorated, and all your holiday meals are prepared and in the freezer. If by chance that is not the case, and you have gifts needing to be sent out of town, requiring a trip to one of the delivery service stores to mail the packages, waiting in long lines, only to find out they can't guarantee delivery by Christmas, you might become a bit frustrated. It will still cost $30 to $60 to send a fairly good sized package. Save yourself some grief and pick up the phone or stop by and have a beautiful holiday arrangement delivered the same day you order it, for the out of town people on your list. Delivery is much more reasonable at $6.99 plus a $5.99 handling fee and they will love their gift. This is the perfect gift for people in town, too.
Now if your house is not as festive as you would like, I would suggest a beautiful and fragrant fresh centerpiece for your dinning table, coffee table, and/or kitchen counter top. You may also choose a permanent arrangement or wreath that will give you years of enjoyment. If you're fresh out of last minute ideas, we will be glad to help.
As far as the food in your freezer, you're on your own.
If you have a gardener on your Christmas list, a gift certificate from Pinehurst is a great gift. Give it by itself or tuck it in a new pair of great garden gloves.
Have a great week and Merry Christmas,
Vicky
