Explore Historic New England
We invite you to visit Historic New England sites to discover how New Englanders have lived over four centuries. You'll learn about merchants, servants, politicians, and early preservationists; and find out how the household objects reveal the owner's life story. With thirty-six historic sites, Historic New England offers somthing for everyone -- from early homes, high-style mansions, and working farms to the 1938 home of Bauhaus architect Walter Gropius.
