Recently, I was cruising the Internet looking for opportunities to promote 811 when I came across Happy, Texas on Facebook. Low and behold, Happy, Texas had 810 "Likes" and was just begging for me to take the 811 slot. I quickly clicked "Like" just moments before some other poor soul sadly ended up with "Like" number 812. Perhaps it was just a happy coincidence that I was able to create an "811 moment" at the most opportune time; when the National Safe Digging Month Facebook page was holding a contest where such an entry could win a new iPad donated by Call 811.
